Location

The fluidised bed gasification plant has been built along Cleveland Street with vehicle access on the Dalton Street site. Energy Works have planning permission for a 3MWt Anaerobic Digestion Facility located on the Dalton Street Site. The two sites will be linked by a high level conveyor and access route that will remove the need for extra vehicles transferring materials between them.

Energy Works is set to start a transformation of this part of the city’s industrial heartland.

The Cleveland Street development covers a 7.5 acre brownfield site in the centre of Hull’s industrial heartland next to the river Hull. The site was previously home to ADM cocoa mills which shut down in 2010 leaving the site vacant.
